SMCQC’s Ignacian Marian Theatre Company Staged the Re-imagined Version of the Classic Tale “A Little Princess“

The Basic Education Department Faculty Club of St. Mary's College, Quezon City is proud to present a story based on the classic Victorian-era novel and considered as one of the “Top 100 chapter books of all time” – “A Little Princess” written by Tony-nominated composer/lyricist , Andrew Lippa and Brian Crawley based on the novel of  Frances Hodgson Burnett. This play production will showcase the gifts and musical prowess of our Ignacian Marian students and teachers on stage.

The Basic Education Department Faculty Club with the different students’ organizations led by the Ignacian Marian Theatre Company’s actors company, apprentices and pool of talents, collaboratively combined efforts and resources in bringing this masterpiece to life under license from Music Theatre International (MTI), New York City.

A Little Princess chronicles the young life of Sara Crew, an English girl whose rich father sends her away from Africa--where she has been living--to a London boarding school as he leaves on a mission to explore the fearsome land of Timbuktu.

"A Little Princess" is happening on November 25, 2017 ( 8:30AM / 1:30PM) at the Mo. Ma. Josefina Yamzon Auditorium, St. Mary's College Quezon City. The show is Directed by Mr. Jabs Bolok, musical direction of Mr. Cyril Jeru Cruz and Choreography by Mr. Bobby Superales.
