First-Ever Benilde Music and Arts Festival Happening on May 18 at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde

The De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, School of Design and Arts is having the first ever Benilde Music and Arts Festival with the theme “Best of Benilde @30” or BB30.

Presented by Benilde’s Music Production, it is a week long celebration showcasing the vibrant talents of Benildean students, alumnae, and faculty featuring Music & Theater performances, Arts Management talks & Music Production workshops, whole day exhibits by the Interior Design, Design Foundation, Fashion Design and Merchandising, Multimedia Arts, Animation, & Architecture Departments of the School of Design and Arts.

The highlights of the Grand Opening on Saturday are performances by homegrown Benildean artists such as: Agsunta, The Juans, Nathan & Mercury, St. Wolf, MVibe, Miguel Mendoza, Jascha Obieta, Mikee and Roxanne, JMKO & Sheena Palad, Joko & Tristan for the PLUG-IN concert.

Jensen & the Flips, Ang Bagong Luto Ni Enriquez, Banna Harbera, Proclaiming Jesus Music, Ena Mori, Barako, Wilderness, Mark Atienza for CAFÉ JAM.

Electronic Music Stage – free program at the SDA Lobby at 10:00AM 

CAFÉ JAM – free program at the SDA Cafeteria starting at 12:00NN onwards

PLUG-IN concert – at the SDA Theater starting at 7:30PM with ticket price of P300 regular & P200 for students.

BB30 will run until May 24, 2019 at the SDA Campus from 9:00AM - 6:00PM. Admission is free (except for the PLUG-IN concert). The event is hosted by the Music Production Department of the Benilde Arts and Culture Cluster (BACC). All are welcome.
