Empowered by Music, Klassikal Music Foundation Hosts Benefit Concert on Nov. 11

Klassikal Music Foundation (KMF), the country’s premiere organization which provides scholarship for young aspiring classical singers presents KMF Empowered, a benefit concert for the foundation’s scholarship fund on November 11, 2018 at the Star Theater in CCP Complex in Pasay City.
The benefit concert will showcase the talents of KMF scholars who have been empowered by the foundation to be true ambassadors of music. The concert will feature the scholars—who have been under the tutelage of some of the country’s renowned music talents—as they perform favourite opera selections, classic musical theatre hits, as well as contemporary award-winning broadway selections and popular music renditions.
KMF Empowered is directed by international baritone and musical theater director Andrew Fernando, with the choreography by Prima Ballerina Lisa Macuja-Elizalde, renowned Light Designer John Batalla, and acclaimed Set Designer Leeroy New. The benefit concert will feature a special appearance by Martin Nievera, and performances by Ballet Manila, and the Chairman and Founder of Klassikal Music Foundation, Dr. George T. Yang.
