EVENT DESCRIPTION

During the month of January, people of Bustos Bulacan are celebrating "Minasa Festival". Minasa Festival is showcasing the town's delicious delicacies Minasa Cookies and locally made food item as well as other items, for example, the dry-like wafer fresh Barquillos. This event demonstrates their way of life and their convention through this Minasa celebration. This celebration proceeds for seven days. At the time of celebration a considerable measure of nourishment slow down and bazaar is composed which offer diverse stock like garments, embellishments, toys and lot more.

Minasa is the name of the locally produced version of the ubiquitous uraro cookies, but this one is marked by a more toasted less sugary yet elegant flavor that separates it from the standard uraro toll, and which charms it to local people and guests alike. It is praised in a similar time with the devour of their supporter holy person Holy Child Jesus. The celebration includes road dancing parade in brilliant ensembles and furthermore includes a column of temporary slows down offering local food and merchandise inside the municipal compound. The local legislature of Bustos, headed by Mayor Arnel Mendoza, propelled a book on Bustos local history on January 12 on the occasion of the Minasa Festival.
