HOW TO WRITE CHILDREN'S STORIES
EVENT #: 23879
How to Write Children's Stories is a six-hour crash course on storywriting for a young audience. You’ll receive lectures about the audiences covered by children's literature, as well as story design principles and exercises that will help you quickly build children's stories. You'll leave this workshop with guidelines on dealing with both children and adult readers, tools to help in assuring the story's language fit for children, and a writing process that will help you produce more stories despite your busy schedule.
Do you have little to no writing experience? Fear not! This crash course will cover the basics, which makes the course perfect for parents, teachers, and anyone who loves kids!
How to Write Children's Stories is taught by Dr. Joem Antonio. A published children's book author, he has a Ph.D. in Creative Writing from UP Diliman and is an eight-time Palanca Award winner.
*Minors, full-time students, employed or licensed teachers, homeschooling parents, persons with disabilities, and senior citizens are automatically given a 20% scholarship after presenting documents as proof.
