It is sweeter, they say, the second time around. Maybe or maybe not, its for you to find out!

Join us again in the biggest ultramarathon fiesta of the North hosted by Team ADR or AnyDayRunners in cooperation with the City of Bogo and we will celebrate running again as we celebrate our anniversary month. It will be happening on July 13-14, 2019 with a 50km and a 25km categories. The festive Ultramarathon will start on July 13 at 10pm (50kms) and will have a 10-hour cut off for finishers. . Various aid stations/water stations will be available along the way. The 25-km distance will start on July 14 at 3:00am and will have a 5hr cut off. The route will be posted as soon as possible.

For Limited slots only (200 for the 50kms/100 for the 25kms), registration fees will be 1,600 for the 50kms and 1,300 for the 25kms. This will be one of the few Ultramarathons in the country that is going to have cash prizes.

Part of the proceeds will be for the benefit of Brian Guillen, who is still requiring maintenance and expenses for his medical condition. He was greatly affected by his unfortunate experience when he collapsed due to extreme dehydration during the 2017 Ironman Triathlon in Mactan. Secondly, to promote Ultramarathon in the northern part of Cebu and share the joy of running long distance foot races.

After registration via on-line / google, runners must pay the corresponding registration fee and submit the proof of payment to the event organizer or designated address. Please do so before March 15, or we will forfeit your slot. Slots are only confirmed after payment.  Waiver should be signed by the runner himself upon claiming of his/her race kit.

Participants below 18 years old must have their entry form signed by their parents or guardians.

Mandatory Gears

Each registered runner should bring with him/her all the mandatory items as listed below throughout the race. Failure to do so will result in disqualification at the discretion of the race organizer.

1)Working headlamp/torch light/flashlight.   During the day, this item may be stored in the drop bag.  It is the runner’s responsibility to have the headlamp/torch light from dusk to dawn.

2)Blinkers / Reflective vest worn during night time. Please bring a mobile phone with enough load to make emergency calls.

  BOTH will be checked in various areas along the route, and please

  cpmply otherwise we will not hesitate to disqualify you.

3)Water bottle (No plastic cups will be provided during the event as this is an Leave No Trace inspired event)

4)Foldable cup or other container suitable for drinking at the water station (may be the same as item 3). Note that there will be no cups at aid stations.

5)Runner must check in at 8pm for the 50km category to present their gears.  Random check will be conducted during the race and DQ may be imposed.

     Runners must start at the same time.  We will not allow late runners.  

6)LEAVE NO TRACE. Runners, Crew and staff must NOT LITTER or pollute the environment.  Those who will be caught doing so will result to an automatic DQ.

RUNNERS have the responsibility to submit themselves for CHECK-IN at designated time checkpoint stations.

RACE Bib should always be worn in front and should be visible.

Drop Bag Station

There will be two drop bag stations: Start/Finish Line Area and the turning point for the 50km category or at the 25km distance / Aid Station. Drop bags may be deposited from 8pm to 930pm on Saturday, July 13, 2018. Please label your drop bag prominently with your name and bib number. Please do NOT leave any valuables in your drop bag.

Cebu North 50 is NOT responsible for the loss of any drop bag and any spoilage.


•Runners must understand the unique nature and requirements of competing in an ultramarathon distance road race.  He/she must have undertaken the necessary training to compete in such a race.

•He/she should be self-reliant and will be responsible for his/her own safety by having the ability and skills to self-diagnose and deal with any problems that may be encountered during a race of this nature.

•Runners must be able to take care of himself without any external assistance, under deteriorating weather conditions (e.g. rain, strong winds, hot, dry and humid weather,) and other unforeseen circumstances that may arise while the race is in progress.

•Runners must be able to deal with his/her extreme fatigue, digestive problems, muscle pain, mild physical injuries and other discomforts during the race. Runners should run on the official race course.  

•In case a runner gets lost, he/she should go back to the proper course.  In no case shall the distance outside the race course be considered valid

•Runners should respect marshals doing Mandatory Gear check at any time during the race.  

•The roads are not closed for this event, always look both ways before crossing streets and intersections.

•In the event of routing error, wrong course, the runner may be driven back to the exact original spot where he/she left the course and continue running from that location.

Running must be on a single file, on the far left side of the road, facing traffic.

Consumption of alcohol is prohibited during the race.

All Runners, Crew and Staff must display courtesy, positivity, decorum and sportsmanship at all times.  Be grateful to our Marshals and crew, thank them.

SUPPORT CREW / VEHICLES are allowed but must be extra cautious minding other runners along the way and should be vigilant with the on going race and traffic.  The runners are not allowed to approach their support vehicles which are allowed only to stay on the right side of the road.


The maximum time allotted for completion of the race is:

50KM – 10 Hours (Gunstart at 10pm, July 13, 2018)

25KM – 5 Hours (Gunstart at 3am, July 14, 2018)

All Runners reaching the Finish Line beyond cut-off will still be awarded with the Finisher Shirts and the Finisher Medals but will not be considered an official finisher.

This is a foot race, NO RIDERS allowed.  No Cheating. Those proven guilty will result to an automatic disqualification and will be endorsed for banning in future running events. The FS and Medal shall also be returned if the runner is proven guilty of such even after the event.


Complaints, especially on the podium finishers, must be made in writing with sufficient proof and should be submitted to the race organizer before the awarding ceremony. Post-race feedbacks or complaints may be emailed to with sufficient proof. Any online or social media protest will not be entertained.


The organizer reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to make changes to the route and checkpoints/water station points or to the cut-off times. In the event of adverse weather conditions, the race may be postponed or delayed.


Each participant expressly foregoes his/her image rights for the photos taken for the duration of the race and undertakes not to take any action against the organizers.  If there is an intention to remove any watermarks, please inform the photographer and please give photo credits.
